The kiln running cost calculator is great tool for understanding how much a single fire will cost in your current kiln, or even a new kiln you’re looking to purchase.

• Have your power bill at the ready
• Know your kiln amperage and voltage (found on your kiln compliance plate or on the kiln product page under specifications)
• The calculator requires the cost per kilowatt hour (kWh) to be input as a dollar value, so if your bill is shown in cents, make sure you do the conversion to dollars. E.g. 27.3277 (cents) ÷ 100 will give you the dollar amount 0.273277
